07 Door Clunk



You mean when opening, it makes a slight pop noise? If so, I'm subbing because that's what my door does.

If it's loud, make sure it's not hitting the fender, or that anything is caught in the hinge area.
 
Yes it makes pop sound when opening but my main concern is when driving, starting/stopping always gets a clunk out of my door. I'm guessing hinges are
shot and it doesn't look like a job for the garage.
 
Well the hinges are actually easily replaceable. There are two 15mm bolts holding it to the door, and two 15mm bolts holding it to the car. Maybe go to a junkyard and open some GP doors and see is they pop. If not grab them.

Also be certain that it is for sure your door.
 
Fixed it !! Replace lower door hinge, kinda tricky to get door aligned properly and only available from GM ($132.00) yiks!
 


if you open the door, then lift it from the outer edge, ( door handle side) if it moves, the hinges are bad. old school testing right there lol
