06 Monsoon radio won't turn on?

Hi, coming here to see if anyone has different ideas on this. I have a stock 6 CD monsoon system in my car. The other day the radio was turned off via the power button. Now the radio will not turn on. This has happened before and I was able to remedy it by repeatedly pressing the power button until it came back on. No luck this time after 3 drives where I was pressing the on button. The LEDs all work, the clock is on, chimes work, pressing OnStar works through the speakers, and I can eject and load discs so I think the radio has power.

I checked the fuse for the radio and didn't notice any issues, but I could have missed something. At this point I feel like the power button itself is the problem. Anyone hae advice?
 


If you had issues with the power button before, that's probably your problem. If you haven't beaten it with extreme prejudice I suggest trying that.
 
After pulling everything out and checking all the plugs and having no success, lo and behold, my GF gets in the car and presses the power button a few times and it comes back to life. Mystery. It must be the power button is worn out somehow. Just thought I'd share. Thanks!
