Hi all!
Posting for my cousin who owns a 06 Gran Prix GT.
Recently his transmission has started acting up. He said it was slipping a few months ago and had the fluid and filter changed, which resolved that issue. Now about a week ago it started to act up again. He says when coming to a stop itll shift into neutral then force itself into 1st. If he rolls through a slow right (IE a yield sign or parking lot condition), itll shift into neutral as he turns but upon accelerating again it will not re-engage the gear for a couple seconds then slam 2nd.
He has no other issues but those. Says it drives fine 10mph and up, drives through the gears without slamming, all 3+OD work, etc.
Any guesses? I did a search (trust me, im no forum n00b) and did not find anything relevant to his issues.
