'06 GP rear speaker sounds like it has a pebble rolling around in it.

Monsoon stereo system rear speaker. Also how do you remove the speaker from the mount.

put the back seats down remove the bolts you see and pull out the rear cover. pretty easy

It's the rt rear speaker that sits below the window and it looks like I access it from the trunk. I'm not sure how to remove the cover to see what's going on under it. Once I get it out what are the chances that it is actually a stone and not a blown speaker. The photo from the last poster doesn't resemble mine.

highly unlikely, like i said the speaker cone has probably come off the base and needs glued back down use gorrila or extra stregth super glue and wait about a day and it should be all good again....my center speaker did the same thing about 2 yrs ago and i just glued it and it was like new
