Hello everyone,

On my way home sunday night from work i got a engine light, check on the ol aeroforce and p0356. coil code/ misfire.

Well i switched over to the misfire section and i had misfires at idel. Once i give her any throttle they go away.

Today or this morning i cleared the code and it hasnt come back. I did watch the misfires on the way here and had 1.

Plugs where changed maybe 200 miles ago. Wondering if the coil is dyeing or just as my luck has had it with this car and its wireing issue.

Any ideas? fouled plug? Bad coil? Wiring?

Check coils for cracks... Check wires for corrosion or rips.... If u can pinpoint the cylinder if check the plug to see if its fouled or wet

well to update, i havent switched coils or anything around, and yes i did narrow it down from the code and my aeroforce. Cyl #6. i have since looked at wires and wiggled them. at the harness. The misfire has stopped and not returned. So thus i can conclude bad wires like everything else i had go wrong

Or dirty contact? Did you remove the wire and checked at both spark plug and coil end to see if there's oil or grime buildup? If it looks clean, replace the wire. The wire can still fail and you'd go back to misfiring.

Go msd not stock wire sets. There like the same price and msd has the least resistance than any other wire in the market besides granetelli.

-Silly question time: Did you check to make sure the plugs and wires were tight and secure? Not trying to be rude.
