05 Grand Prix hole in muffler

I was wondering what is the best way to fix a whole in my muffler and what size pipe my 05 Grand Prix has it's a 3.8
 


Is the hole in the muffler or the exhaust pipe? A photo of the damage would be helpful but they make a patch kit for them at the auto parts store. Or jb weld my your friend here..

Or you could replace it or have a muffler shop do it
