05 Fuel Filter

Does the 05 Prix have a non-servicable Fuel filter
with 47,000 on it I figured I should change it as It probably hadn't been done But the two parts stores I went to Have NO listing so I am coming to the conclusion that it is Either Non-servicable or it is a dealer item only (which either way Ticks me OFF)
Or are both people just Idiots (I have run into this a lot with part stores around here)

It doesn't have a fuel filter only the sock on the fuel pump
 
Same for an '06? I've seen a pic somewhere of the 'in-tank' screen or whatever. So there's no filter to replace?
WTH is that about, GM!!!
 


That's strange, didn't realize that. My 04 has a filter, changed it long ago and was going to get at it again.
 
they sell the filter screens on thier own , you just have to match up the old with the new , they wont find it under a specific car .
 


Dam after hearing all this does an 07 GT have a fuel filter? I have a little over 32000 on my car. I would be inclined to change it soon if it has one.
