05 Engine swap?

I need a new motor for my 05 GP that originally had an l26 in it. Would a series 2 be a direct swap? Or would I have to swap parts from the l26?
 


You would have to swap over your top end parts and various other small things like oil pan etc etc.

The block itself will work if it's a L36 bottom end.
