'05 AC sorta working

Got a weird problem that just started happening. When I start my car the AC appears to not be working - or is just barely cooling the air. The first 2 times it started it took about 15 minutes before it went to normal cooling (ie, cold).

Ive been trying to play around to find a rhyme or reason but havent gotten much to go by. If I put it in Recirculation mode it seems like the cold air kicks in within 5-10 minutes while driving on the highway.

Once the cold air kicks in I can turn the AC on or off and it comes back cold. Tonight after a long drive and had the car off for and hour I got back in and the AC was cold on the restart.

Any thoughts on why this might be happening? I presume if the charge was low I wouldnt get cold air coming out at any point correct?
 


See if your car is shooting any codes. I had similar issues and it ended up being a pressure sensor. Mind you the code did not trigger a CEL.
 
Ah ok - no CEL but I can check the codes, Ill see what it says. How much to replace a pressure sensor? That alot of labor or pretty easy?
