04 starts then dies

hello, i am new to this forum! i just bought an 04 grand prix 3.8.. Every once in awhile when i start it, it just runs for a second then dies. it will do that a couple times unless i hit the gas to keep it running. any ideas on what this could be? i checked the fuel pressure and it was normal. thanks in advance!!
 


had the same problem brought it to my dealer they cleaned the throttle body and advanced the idle position and hasnt happened since
 
um im not sure mine was still under the 30 day warranty so i didnt want to mess with it and i got it from a strictly pontiac dealer that i have known for a few years only took him 15 mins
