04+ shorter dog bones

Any parts store such as Oreilly's, Autozone... They are actually called torque struts. The shorter ones come off of a Pontiac Aztec. Autozone has them for 13 bucks a piece for brand new ones.

cut your stock ones for the price of free. has everyone on the entire planet lost the ability to fabricate their own parts?

one thing is to cut htem bio but if a person has no means to weld them back together then that person looses out and still has to pay (in some form or other) for a person to weld them back, so for some it is easier to go to the store and purchase them new with no issues

He means cut them and drill new holes. No welding required. I would prefer to get them from a parts store for the sime fact I'd have the originals to throw back in if I wanted. The only reason for shorter dogbones is to get rid of vibration from lowering your car

cut and redrill? alright then I am definately missing which part we are talking about lol my bad

The Aztec shorter dogbones are roughly 1 inch shorter. So you measure 1 inch in from the holes that are already there to bolt to the mount on the core support and re-drill new holes. Then you cut off the excess. Make sense?

1" is too much, you only want to make them 3/4" shorter. that's why buying montana dogbones from ZZP is stupid.

well, not much clearer but as I don't have any inclination to lower the vehicle I don't need to know how to do it ;-) but thanx for exlaining
