• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

04+ Roof rails

If you can find a good body shop to make up the difference or... you can dead center them and get away with it.

I've got a pair I'm almost finished making FIT the car properly. I have one more epoxy layer to do and sand, then I should be ready for a matte black vinyl wrap and install. It's been a PITA to modify.

To clarify, they are about 3/8" too short. They are also tapered at each end, which the 2004+ roof line does not do. I had to widen the rails for 2-3 inches on each end and also lengthen them.

They look like poo right now with layers of epoxy, but they are smooth.

I was going to say, they arent 2 inches short, but they arent perfect without some manipulation... Damnir has taken the meticulous approach...

I think you meant to say "the stupid" approach. This is such a PITA I can't even begin to elaborate. Now that I have them pretty much done (or so I thought), vinyl looks terrible since the ends are not completely uniform (flat). I've started blasting it with filler/primer and I'll start sanding them out to see if they can be saved (well, look better).

you can use finishing putty that might help a little bit to get in more flat and fill in any small imperfections
