04+ No U-Bend?????

I just popped my car on the ramps and didnt see a ubend. it looked completely straight I could even see where the O2 sensor is...did these year models come factory without the U-bends? cause im first owner and nothing there.
 


07GPGT. is ur grand prix NA or SC? Ive seen a few of ur posts and im not sure if 2007 made the s/c, i know my 2006 model did, after that i think it was deleted.
 


My GPGT is supercharged. Somebody else said they did'nt know the 07 was. It was a rental car for its first 30,000 miles, then I got it from the dealership about three weeks ago.

Now i'm wondering if I need that DP since there's no u-bend. Maybe it would'nt hurt... I'm ordering my 3.5 next week with autolite 104's, 180* t-stat ... 3" DP? Already made my FWI
 
offroadfury6 is your dvd/nav factory? If so how do u like it? I saw one on ebay for @$900 and I was thinking about getting it, I wanna stay factory and still have a dvd 4 my daughter...
 
a rental car with a supercharger? WOW, I always thought the rental companies used base model cars
 


yeh my supercharged 06 was a rental down in florida for the first 27,000 miles...and no my dvd/nav isant factory...sad thing is, the new GM cars need a special radio wiring harness, had to pay $120 bucks for one with onstar. sucks!!! plus when i blow on my horn, at the same time, static is heard thru my speakers and since i changed my radio, my date and time on my DIC doesnt work anymore, everything else does...im thinking of putting factory radio back in, its much better than dvd :\ i dont watch it anyways lol.
 
It becomes a pain in a** the more you wanna add, the more it takes away from another thing that works fine
 
so true...the problem is, cars are so smart now, just because its a factory doesnt mean its a piece of $%^!, atleast in my case.
 


Mine was a rental for the first 65k miles. I didn't think they kept them that long but I did some research and it really is the first 65k. I bought it with 68k. the dealer said it had been driven by the owner of the dealership for a couple months before I bought it. Mine is like a strippy. no leather, no 5 button DIC, no HUD, no MONSOON. i've never seen one so simple anyone else?

Yours is a base model GP. As is mine. :th_frowning: We have the standard 3 button DIC, no HUD, and standard radio. No moonroof/sunroof either, Thank god they upgraded to the 3800 engine after 03 at least :th_thumbsup-wink:

aww man u guys got jipped...mines fully loaded...hahahaha...5 DIC, 6 cd changer in dash (took out, might put back in) the monsoon radio, sunroof, auto start...only thing i dont have that i want is the HUD and Quick Shift :(
 
Yeah I guess that's what you can call it. I've NEVER in my life see a GTP as basic and base as mine. Quicksilver, is yours a gtp?
