04 GT 2 issues I need your help with...

Hello everyone,

Wifeys ride, took it to the car wash today (I dont drive it too often) and noticed a couple of things.

1.) Upon acceleration from a stop it sounds like a trickle/waterfall coming from the engine/firewall area... wife said its been doing it for awhile. No idea on what it could be.. any ideas?

2.) Also upon accelaration, it sounds almost as if its a GTP, somewhat of a supercharge whine. Its always made a slight "whine" noise but it seemed to be much louder today.

Both of these symptoms occured when the car was cold, and didnt get up to temp (car wash is only a few minutes away) so Im not sure if they go away once warmed up.


Any help/information would be greatly appreciated!

Couldn't tell ya on the water noise. As for the whine, I'd check ur power steering fluid. Mine got low and it whined even under straight acceleration. Or I've even had the bearings go out on my alternator and make a supercharger whine. Check those
 
Thank you for your reply superv6. I didnt even think about the power steering because it was happening going straight.. Ill have to check it out, good idea.



Anyone have anything on the water noise? Its sounds like water is rushing into the cab from behind the dash... really weird and really bothering me...
