04 grand prix - finding vibration question

I am slowly reducing a vibration in the front end but not eliminating it. I have replaced all four wheel hub assemblies in the last 18 months, put a set of 4 new goodyears on two weeks ago.

Still have a vibration. Pretty constant at highway speeds. Not bad but noticable. Notice the vibrate driving through town. I am hearing a slight knocking noise upon acceleration. What should I look for?

SHould I check the CV?? joint on the front axle next? If so, what do I look for. Can't really tell what side it is coming form. Car has 104k.

Thanks!

Yes, check the CV's. Look for grease coming out from the boots on either end.

The knock may be caused by a bad/worn motor or trans mount. Also check the sway bar/endlinks. Not sure how common the broken front bar is on the 04's, but I know it was prevalent on the 97-03's.

check all four rotors for runout as well, calipers may be hanging up a bit and therefore making the vibration noticeable
