Sorry if this is in the wrong area, saw an audio section but it seemed to be classifieds only.

I bought my girlfriend a head unit for her GP for her bday, I was able to locate and order a dash kit for it but I cant find a wire harness anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can get one, or what they used for theirs?

Its an 04 GT, no monsoon.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

local car shop has em. Walmart has em. Just depends on if you want to keep your warning chimes or not. should be around $15 for a cheap harness. You can also by the module to keep your chimes at walmart I believe

What your looking for is Scosche GM 2000+ , is exactly what you need.

yeah depends on ur car...I have the scosche with on-star for $120 is what i paid for it...erm my local wal-mart just got the new scosche GM 2000 and up W/O on-star for $30 .... honestly, ur not gonna get one for under that, New GM's must have this "chip adaptor" on them, its a lil black box and its gonna cost...

check this site out...2000-Up GM Radio replacement interface with door chime feature at Scosche.com

now i could not find the one w/o on-star or door chime on Scosche.com ( to save some cash ). Maybe they're discontinued because I HAVE SEEN THEM! cause i was pissed to see that i coulda got it for $90 bucks less!

you may have to get it on-line if ur local wal-mart dosent carry the base version...

Yea I called schosche because the one I HAD picked up from wal-mart said 88-04 GP so I bought it and went home. Then as I got home I thought to myself, 04 was the first year for this gen GP..... so I called schosche and they said they didnt make one for 04 and I said well it says it right on the back of the package, Im reading it right to you. He said it must be a mistake then...

Thanks for the links..
