04 comp g starts and runs for about 15-20 secs then stalls

Well still on the hunt to find my buddy a Grand Prix. We went and looked at a 04 comp g tonight. Car has 140k on it but has some issues. It will start and idle really rough for about 15 secs then shut off and there's no control of throttle. If you turn the key on and off a couple times and let the fuel pump build pressure it will start faster and will rev for a sec then you loose control of throttle again. I think it sounds like the tb needs cleaning or a the fuel pump is weak. Guy said it was running fine and was almost out of gas and he parked it and it that's when the issue started.
 


Oddly enough, check the T on the supercharger. When mine broke off it had similar symptoms.

Or more likely if he ran it out of gas, clogged fuel filter.
