04+ Blower motor/HVAC fan stays on

Sup,

Before buying anything, figured I'd ask for input.

Situation:

My blower motor had been noisy since a few weeks, chirping once in a while. Was planning to change it once I had a bit of money for that, it was just annoying, still worked normal, speed and all.

I had replaced the Resistor/Module, well the thing that gives you a backache to get to, behind the fan, last year, or 13 months ago.

So now suddenly today, my blower fan went full throttle and my control stopped working, it just worked full speed, not even chirping. As I thought would happen, when I turned the car off, the fan stayed on, so now I pulled the Batt main 4 fuse so my battery wouldn't drain.

But that leaves me without a heater and it's still -20c at nights here. Do I need to replace the resistor (AGAIN ****ing pos.) and the fan, or just the fan?

My first gp did this. It had all sorts of weird electrical things going on with it.

I pulled the Hvac fuse and was done with it.

If you put blower speed on 5 it should still work without the fuse.

It works full speed as I said. But stays on after ignition is off. Which is annoying, I need the fan since it's still goddamned cold here.

I'm not really gonna pop the hood and install the fuse on and off each time.

To make it short, today, fan worked normal, making the usual noise, then when all suddenly it went full throttle, couldn't control it at all, and remained on even after I turned the car off.

Fixed, found a jy with an allure in, pulled resistor and fan, 90$, back ache and painfully frozen feet, but it works.
