04+ Best Exhaust combo



Nope... Stock exhaust is good upto 400hp. I have custom exhaust but I got the whole setup for 100 bux. Its loud and annoying at certain rpm's.
 
Mine rattles when I redline then let off. When I got new mufflers the guy said it was backpressure so I assumed a full 3" with the downpipe would help that
 
Don't redline and let off that's just stupid. Our cars are v6's they aren't made to sound good doing that.
 


I really enjoy my SLP catback, has a nice sound to it.

In terms of flow on an 04+ just snag a new downpipe, or u-bend delete.
 
Search "ubend", then you'll know why its so bad.

04+ Just has a slight tweek in the pipe for some reason.

Going to redline and letting off is dumb, what you are most likely hearing is the rev limiter and back fires through the exhaust.

Its not worth the money to upgrade to full 3in when you are not pushing enough power to need it.
