03 tranny rebuild in 2000 case?

I have a 03 tranny with a cracked case,can i rebuild it in a 2000 case? The only difference i see is the external pnp switch. Is there any other difference?
 


you may just get away with it, you can switch the external switch to the older case, its been done before.

wait for the tranny guys to show and confirm this tho, im not 100% sure, there were some changes made in 03. the inside of the case may not be the same.

good time to change the 4 th gear hub to a hardened one while its apart.
 
For a W body.. nope, no difference. Do it and smile all day long. There's a how to on the External PNP if you need it. However by calling it that, I think you've already found it.
