03 gtp vs 09 monty ss vs 91 stang gt

so i think my bd is broken since my upgrades i didnt think i gained much. but i ran a 09 monty carlo w/ exhaust k&n filter and diablo tuner and won by two-three lengths dont know the time (closed road). the mustang results were about the same. so im kinda impressed untill the 09 stang sc and lost by 4 lenghts but it could have been worse.

There was no 2009 Monte Carlo made period, let alone a Monte SS. Last year for it was 2007. And I hope you meant a 2006/2007 Monte SS with the LS4 V8 and not the earlier 3800 S/C models. If thats the case then nice kill. The LS4's can hit mid to high 13's right from the factory with a good driver.

I remember when I had my Trailblazer SS I was on a TBSS forum and another member there had an LS4 Monte that he said was running solid 13.60s. But the elevation and driver factors add up pretty quick.

yea sorry i wasnt sure about the year but it was the ls4. the worst part was that he thought for sure he was going to smoke me. he had been running his mouth for 3 days. and he had a completely empty car and i had a passenger and my 2 12's in a big a** heavy box and i couldent get my car to hook well. how much more can you get out of those ls4's with one of those power tuners??
