03 GP GT vs 02 Altima

I have an 03 GT, comepletly stock besides a k&n drop in. I want to know how the race will go, my friend has an 02 Altima 2.5 litre i beileve. His is completely stock as well besides a new exhaust tip I think. Ill update this whenever we race. Let me know your opinons.

LOL Or maybe he means a different muffler...remember those 4 banger guys like to call fart cans "tips" ;)
 
haha yea I meant muffler. I'm not sure why I said tip, he just kept saying he got a new exhaust buy he payed like 70 so I knew it wasn't a full exhaust. His tip looked different so I'm guessing it was a new muffler and tip. And thanks for the rims comment. I love them. And your cobras!!:D
 


X2^^ It is the QR Series motor...and has variable valve timing...good power for a N/A 4 banger and a bit torquey due to its fairly high displacement 2.5 liters...makes 175hp and 180 ft.lbs. with a muffler...maybe 1 more :p
 


well I raced my friend when he first got his 06 altima 2.5 special edition and they have 175hp and I walked him after 1st gear and I was a stock gt with a k&n drop in so im more than sure u will get em
 
YOu should have him, I ran some kid in a 2.4 V4 from a dig in my GT and had a good 5 cars on him by 60 mph :p
 


this thread is awesome! i got a friend that has an 02 altima in his garage hes drivin an SUV now bc he blew the altimas motor hes gettin a new stock motor put in n he should have it back in month he said...n all hes doin is talkin **** that hes gonna beat me (not that i was worried hed beat me in the first place) ha

unless he's droppin a 3.5 in there....thats a little light car witt quick motor...it would pull on the top end like crazy....
