here i am heading down 710 HWY and its at nite. A nissan is trying its best to pass me but couldnt get a chance cause of traffic. so when the oppertunity arises he guns it, i waited until his tail lamps got to my door and gass'd it...man first thing i hit when it downshifted was 5000 rpms, it wineded thru that and hit 3rd power pushing RPMS. it was a sad turnout for the nissan. i mean as soon as i gassed it, it was almost the nissan quit pulling, i slow-mo'd passed him back lol. was great. i know he gunned it cause he pass'd with power. I did this in my dads 02 grand prix, rite before i bought mines. his is mad fast in rpms, i know they're the "same" but seems like his 3rd gear is rated diff. ... i dunno
 


what kind of maxima was it? All maximas have a v6 lol. 02-03 maximas are the fastest...6-speed manuals with 3.5VQE 255hp and 246tq motor.
 
they are pretty quick, but they don't have anything on the older 5.5gen maxima. If I was spending that much money I'de just look for a used 4-door g35x awd
