Hahaha. It was a quick upload. Im close to my time being a 9.98 and his was I belive a 10.34 350 was lowered. Bald tires. Rims all show no go. And I'm stock cept intake. Colder Tstat and plugs .


I think I had a .524 reaction he had closer to a .875. My 60ft I think was 2.4 and his was 2.56

Learn to launch better.

Sub 2.0 60's are easily possible which would cut your 1/8th times down DRASTICALLY.

350's aren't that fast either...SOOOOOO...

Load up stall to about 1800-2k...

I leave it in 1 until 20~ then move it up to 2 the second you go full throttle.

If you're only running 1/8th you don't need the other two gears.

Go practice...find a happy medium with your right foot.
 
Why do you shift it down lower, for increase line pressure? Just curious, I can't say I've done a real drag myself.

It's not because of "lag".

There isn't any lag unless your trans is dying.

It's so the car doesn't shift and bog into 2nd at like 20~ mph when/if you blow the tires off and can't get traction.

Holding 2nd also helps so the car doesn't shift early like I've seen some do...say around 5k, instead you can hold it to nearly redline.
