can somone please help
I have an 02 GT that has been stalling intermittantly the last 5 months. It stalls, the engine cranks but it doesnt start. I drain the battery trying to start it again, when I jump it to another car, it will start. I can drive it for 500 miles and then it will happen again. jump it and then drive it another 500 -700 miles
I have done the following;
replaced the crank position sensor
had it professionally checked out which resulted in replacing the ignition control module
Gas comes out of the rail after it salls when I push the preesure release valve and I hear the fuel pump priming
It is diificult to test certain things because once I get it running again everything is wondeful all the tests I or someone else performs come back as working properly.
I am stuck and don't know what else to try and I dont want to trow money away chasing unecessary repairs
any help is greatly appreciated
