01 Regal GS lower outside door trim removal. How?

Hey guys i wanna repaint my side of my car. 'clear coat peeling' but i cant figure out for the life of me how the remove the lower side moldings on the doors. i got the ones on the fender and rockers off but the doors puzzle me. i also got new clips. Anyone know how?

just pop the top edge free aka break them clips, they are so brittle they snap with ease.

the way them new clips work is the lower plastic part goes back on, then put clips in place then slide the thin trim onto the clips. might be able to slide the new clips into the thin bar line em up and just pop em in through the lower trim and into the door holes.
