'01 GTP slipping into first gear!

'01 GTP 168k.

Taking off in first gear is rough, it slips and slips until it finally gets going and the other gears are fine. Every time I pull out it does this.

I need to run this car till November (when we can replace it), so I really want to make this last till then at least!

So... do you think will a bottle of Lucas Stop Slip help with this? Had this car for a decade, it's sad to see her go down hill...

I did a pan drop with Dex VI and quart of lucas in my moms car. It took away some of the slip but its still there once it warms up. Then again the dodos that sold it to her did a flush and didn't put enough fluid in.

I've taken care of this car for a long time, dropped the pan and changed the filter, many, many times. Sad to see this happen to it.

only thing that will help milk it along at this point is some lucas. baby it till you can get a new or used one.
