i rarely play my 360. when i do, all i play is forza 2. today, in the middle of the race, the damn dvd drive starts cycling on and off, and the screen freezes. then after a min or so, comes up with an unreadable disk error. WTF MATE!!! it was JUST PLAYING for like 2 hours!!!! i take the disk out, and there is a crack in it about an inch long:mad::eek::confused::mad: the story doesn't end there

i call xbox, and get hung up on the first time:mad::mad:

i call back and get an indian woman who i can barely understand. we go though all the checks, and determine the xbox was at fault. she sends me to a page on xbox.com where you fill out a form, and send it in along with the broken game, and they send you a replacement for $20:mad::mad: WTF this is their issue. now i am afraid that it will mess up another game:(:(

Just send your xbox in.

I've had it sicne launch and never had my launch console die or eat a disk. But my other one has died, but meh, it gets sent in and they send me back one.
 
I just got my 360 back from Microsoft. The only problem that I had was the customer service rep. Yea, I got an overseas rep on the phone too, and I was on the phone for almost 45 minutes because she would ask me what was wrong, ask me to hold, ask me my address, ask me to hold, ask me what was wrong AGAIN, ask me to hold, confirm my address and what is wrong AGAIN, and that just went on and on. It was the most annoying customer service call ever. They did send me a free Xbox Live 1 month subscription though, so I'm happy about that.:D
