  • well, ill tell you now you wasted money on those MSD coils and wires. you gained zero power with them and may have lost some. the MSD coils are junk, id swap the stock ones back in. even with headers, though, you wont keep up with a stock gtp.
    no, its not a bad idea. i was just wondering why youd want headers on your GT.
    make sure they arent really rusty or corroded at all, make sure the flanges are actually round, not oval. this is how they warp. you might want to get newer donut gaskets too. i covered my donut gaskets in RTV that could take the heat and let them dry completely before i put the headers on. otherwise they are a pretty good header if you get a nice set. i just got a set that was warped and didnt like how they fit. hopefully it will go better for you.

    can i ask why youre getting headers? are you planning on top swapping?
    it might be a good deal, but i never liked getting rid of my stock parts in trade just in case i wanted to go back to stock. it also depends on their condition. TOGs tend to warp around the flanges when you overtighten them.

    Unfortunately i do not know. They didnt tell me. All i know is its an l67 with 82000 on it that will work just fine in a gp with gp motor mounts and a few things that were broken by the boneyard replaced.
    The wiring harness is on it but missing 1 plug an the mounts on your engine should all be able to go onto this one
    82000. u will need to replace a few small things on it and swap the motor mounts because it came out of a different application but its otherwise in good condition. the place i got it said it ran fine when it was pulled.
    i read u were plannin to drop in a gtp engine. ive got one in my garage im not gonna use that id be willin to sell u. the price i have listed on here is way high. im lookin for about $975 obo
