Anyone run 3.05 gearing (Buick)?

I got a replacement tranny installed, and before install we looked at the tag on it. It came from a Regal LS, and from the documentation we found online shows it has 3.05 gearing compared to my old GTP 2.93 gearing.

My question is this... Anyone hear run that gearing? If so, did you update the tranny tables?

I am not throwing a incorrect gear ration code, but sometimes on cruise it feels like its shifting too firm.... hence the question.

for any gear change you need to update the pcm.

I have an LS that came wtih 3.05, so no .. it didnt' need to be updated.

Like mentioned..you changed gear ratios and the pcm is asking you WTF dude?

You need to get the change programmed.

I was looking for someone who has done it.... The only settings I see with my PT is

Tranny>Gear Ratio>

Calculated_Pulses_Per_Revolution
Pulses_Per_Mile
Drive_Sprocket_Ration

Just wanted to get the input of someone that has done this before...
