• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

our cars are cheap to work on!!!

Just looking at the prices on Hennessey Performance | High Performance Upgrades, Parts & Accessories | Camaro SS, ZL1, F-150 Raptor, Corvette, CTS-V, Challenger SRT8, Jeep SRT8, GT-R for a buddy of mine that has a 6.1L Challenger, its like 10x the price for parts compared to our cars. $600 for a top swap for ours and $6K+ for a supercharger for the Challenger.

It's all relative and about quantity.

Our top swap was mass produced and can be found at most junkyards..
Their top swap is made in a much lesser quantity, often requires R&D and fabricated parts specifically for it with little support from the manufacturer.

Our top swap adds 40-50whp simply bolted on and tuned.
Their top swap adds 120-200whp simply bolted on and tuned.

And the car costs around 10x more than our 10+ year old cars, so doesn't it make sense their blower would be 10x more also?

You'd have to compare it to a turbo setup for our car, not a swap using junkyard oem parts.
I agree. A junkyard swap using factory parts is not even comparable to a custom designed SC application for a much better vehicle.

Well, in the late 90's and early 00's, we were paying $700 for a set of headers, $300 for a canned tune from DHP, and $3000+ for centrifugal supercharger kits............factor inflation into the mix, and, well, it's all relative.
