Alright, I'm done with this review until I get some quality HID's.. :th_shakinghead2:

Ok Here we go:

Ok, there are 4 (four) wires exposed and bare. These control the LED's and the halo's
100_0281.jpg

As you can see, this wire leads to a circuit board, and then leads to the LED's. There is a white (positive) and a black (negative) wire.
100_0282.jpg

Kinda blurry, but the other two wires are for the Halo's. Same thing, a white (positive) and a black (negative) wire.
100_0283.jpg

Those wires can be run however you want. You can hook a switch to them, or to your low beams, or what I did that I think is pretty sweet is too hook them up to your orange turn signal lights. There are three wires that you splice to put the white and black wires in. I can check later if anyone is interested. The reason this is sa-weet is that the halo's and LED's will only come on when the turn signal bulb is on. It's also even sa-weeter when they alternate when you have the turn signal engaged. Like I said, if anyone is interested in this mod, I can check the wires for you, I just can't remember off the top of my head.

Old (yuck!)

This picture is to show you that you need to take those wires off of the back of the oem headlight, this will be used on your new projectors.
100_0285.jpg

Here is what I am talking about. Also, you will not be using your orange turn signal bulb. It comes with a different style where you just plug their harness into where the original orange bulb was.
100_0286.jpg

It's all pretty much plug and play from there. The only thing I would watch out for is connecting that blue plug from the OEM harness into the one from the projectors. The problem that I ran into is that the pins don't line up correctly and need to be moved in position. If your low beam and high beam don't work (like mine didn't) it's probably because your a loser like me and plugged it in and the pins aren't touching because they went into the negative space in the blue connector.

It will also come with a guide to show you what you need to do to make your turn signal bulbs work. There will be a new plug from the projectors that you just plug into the OEM harness and that's it. It will lead to a wire and that will be done.

For some reason they are not as bright right now as the picture shows...

Pretty bad ass if I do say so myself:

Ok here are some on car pictures. My car is dirty and I would've took it to a car wash for you guys, but it's snowing tomorrow and it's a waste of money..

Ok final thoughts:

I really like how much more light I can see. Before I used to complain how I can see more with my H3 fog lights then I can with the stock headlights. Now I can see literally 5x the distance with these H3 projectors. I still need to adjust everything. Everything you see is how it comes from the box.

Bouncing is very very minimal. I can never see the bounce when I'm driving, but when I am very close to somebody else's car I can notice a slight bounce.

Overall I am pleased with the added light output that these give and would recommend them to anybody.

If anybody has any questions, feel free to ask :th_thumbsup-wink:

stuntorider we have had no snow this winter but today we are getting 6 to 10 they say. So you can't put an hid in the dash z headlights? That sucks. I was going to get some but nevermind now.

I have HID's into mine (Dash Z Racing's new LED Projectors)

He said he can't afford them atm

Read my review lol i got H3 35W 6000K HID kit.

This, IMO, is a better review than any other's I've read so far. Seems like these capsules have the SAME amount of bounce as newer spyder projectors. Obviously the plastic is just as brittle because one of the other guys already broke a mounting tab.

Good writeup, nice to see some cutoff pics. Cutoff looks pretty crappy compared to the spyder capsules.

Good Write-Up

Getting more and more interested in getting a pain as the reviews come in, cant wait for the $$$ to come in :th_laugh-lol2:

the cut off looks like the projectors have been color modded. when you color mod the spyders it brings the line out of focus.

a slight bounce when you are near someone is definitely not the same as the spyder bounce either. i have all the bounce mods done to mine and i can see them bounce a little bit without anyone in front of me.

the spyder lights also had that "Not for HID" on it. 50watt HIDs started to melt my lenses but the 35watts have been fine.

You guys need to stop jumping to conclusions with these, 2 people have them so far and think they are 10x better than the spyders! they projector could be a little better but the fact that they barely bounce is enough incentive for me to buy them and sell my spyders.

Yea.. I mean you really can't tell they bounce when your driving. Like I said I could only tell slightly if I focused my eyes on the car I'm tailgating. Not that big of a deal.

You can put HID's in them. I put some into the projector and it fit fine. I had some cheap Ebay one's that I regret purchasing because people tell me they are of bad quality and they flicker.... so no HID's until I get these to refund or sell.

And the car will be clean... after this snow stops :p

And the mounting bracket, I have NOT broken it and I think I tightened it down all the way. Probably if I tighten even more, there is a chance of breaking it.

I like them, if I was not selling my GP I would be buying one a set of these! Good write up, glad someone was brave enough to give them a try.

What exactly wiggles in these headlights that might cause them to bounce? I'm going to buy a pair in a couple days, and I'm wondering if I can engineer a way to make them not.

I would probably say the reason they wiggle is because they are attached by only the two original screws and that they may be a little heavier then the OEM headlight.

A sweet way is to have those original areas where they attach to the headlight continue down, sort of like how the corner light housing is attached to the main headlight on the OEM headlights. This would probably seize the wiggling.

Still don't see where these would cause me to sell the Spyder's I have. The triangular orange side reflector looks half ass and doesn't follow any of the lines of the light itself. Still don't like the parking light placement, with these the whole assembly looks too busy. As far as bouncing, my Spyder's without the mod do not bounce.
