    I got a great deal on a 3800 out of a 94 boneville,I want to know what it will take to put it in a 98 grand prix that had a 3100 originally.I know harness and computer but what else?

    I'm wOrking on a friend 99 Gp se 3100,I'm doin injector o rings and I notices upon disasembly that the numbered plugs did not match the numbers on the intake runners.can you guys direct me to a sight or some photos to show the correct sequince the plugs go in for future referance,thank you.

    Ok guys,this is gonna make me nuts so all you 3100 gurus jump in.I have done the complete top end from head gaskets up all felpro ,new lifters,pushrods,all new sensors,exhaust gaskets,any how this thing still ticks in the top end but the strange thing is it stops ticking at about 2200 rpm but...

    still ticking

    Hey guys and girls,good to be here.problem is my 3100 v6 in my 98 gp se still ticks after new lifters and Lim gasket set(new metal felpro) .I'm thinking maybe exhaust leak any info is appreciated,btw I only payed 50 bucks for the car and its pristine.
