    Replaced MAF sensor and converter overheated.

    I have a 2001 Grand Prix GT 3.8L 3800 2nd Gen. I scanned the codes and it said "Mass Air Flow Sensor Low Input", this was the only fault code so I bought a new MAF sensor and installed it. I then erased the fault code and started the engine and drove about 1/2 mile and the car started to loose...

    Hi, new to the thread but not to Pontiac

    I recently bought a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix 3800 2nd gen hoping to have a better mpg car than my truck. I used to have, several years ago, a 1997 Sunfire and really liked it. It got 33 mpg so I thought I would give another Pontiac a try. Hoping to get some much needed help on this forum.
