    Polishing stock crash braces

    So has anyone ever done this? Or do most people just buy aftermarkets. If yes, whats required to do it. Strip the paint with aircraft/paint stripper first then goto town with flap wheels and sand paper. Or just skip the stripper and do wheels and paper. If anyone has pics please post.

    An afternoon with the drill and some polishing compound.

    And you get this.:th_biggrin2: Took a drill with with some 80 grit sanding wheels followed by hand sanding with 150 then 450. Finished up by polishing the crap out of them with some 3M Mag and Aluminum Polish.

    Well its all done. Smoothed and painted my front valve cover. Color is Ford Blue then I epoxyed one of my extra badges on. Just need it to warm up past -10 so I can put it on. Damn weather. Will update with on car pics when it warms up.
