• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

  • Good to know. I know the ones I had heard about failing were the very first versions so maybe something has changed since then. I'll have to take some measurements tomorrow to see exactly where I would need the opening to be but knowing that it can be extended is good to know.

So what kind of deposit would I need to put down for one using the phenolic material and PCV function? Also, are you set up to do machine work on aluminum? My MAP LIC would not work with this setup so I would need a different LIM machined to match the new IC. Is this something you could do? Of course I'd provide the LIM. Thank you Logan.
ok, firstly i have not heard anything bad with using the phenolic material. its rated 300 degrees continuous and the only thing i have heard cracking is the earlier ultem model. the reason i use phenolic is because its easy to work with, doesnt absorb heat like aluminum, its cheaper than an aluminum piece the same size. as far as larger opening towards water outlets, yes. its right on the edge of the core as it is on the bbv side. it can be wide as you want also, the actual core is 8.5 long, 7.5 wide, 2 thick (inches). i can integrate the pcv function into the core, i just didnt because im running an oil air seperator and did not need it. i just made a short stack version for someone on the forum and he did the same thing as far as a deposit. i have more material coming, should be here any day now. also, if you wanted, i could make an aluminum one but its gonna cost a little more because of the materials. thanks. let me know
