    2000 Grand Prix won't shift under hard acceleration

    3.1 Runs nicely most of the time but when you stomp on it the RPMs just climb and it won't shift into next gear. No engine codes. ANy thoughts?

    2000 Hood Struts - Really?

    OK - just got a 2000 Grand Prix for my daughter. Doesn't have any hood struts in it. I see the top pins but the bottom looks like they slide into a slot. Am I right on this or are the bottom pins busted off? thx

    checking senors for idle on 2000 3.8

    Got a 2000 3.8 with 131k on it. Was gettting fast idle error code and intermittant stalling. Pulled of the throttle body and cleaned it up. Also cleaned the IAC. Ran better but still idling about 1000 rpm when warm and still stalls. Stalls when idling or decelerating. Was sitting at a...
