What does your car do in a 1.4 mile?

I don't know why I didn't ever realize this was here, but sorry I didn't reply. I really just saw this. I'm sure that you've already done something, but I thought I'd let you know that a service bulliten came out a few weeks ago telling dealers to replace the Monsoon amp in the trunk if the center channel was blown. So it wasn't the speaker, even though it is cheap, that is the problem but the amp. Any 2 1/4" speaker will work, I didn't even have to cut any wires. The cover pops off, just be careful not to dig into the dash. I used two screwdrivers. If you have any questions now or in the future, I now know to check for PMs when I get online.

You seem to know a lot about the audio in the grand prix. I have an 08 gxp, and the center dash speaker is buzzing on me, and its driving me nuts. It's under warranty, but I don't want the cheapass speaker they put in there if it's already failing. I know nothing about electronics, and i'm willing to buy any kind of speaker if thats possible to stick up front to replace that cent dash speaker. my email is [email protected] or aim at bumrock41. thanks a lot. i'll be checking this from time to time.
