    Shifting problem, pls help

    Hi- Installed new shifter cable (just engine side). Everything looks good but I can only shift down (from park, reverse, drive, 3rd, etc.). When I move my shifter up (3rd, drive, reverse, park), nothing happens. What am I missing? Thx. '97 GTP

    Help! Snapped my GTP shifter cable

    I snapped my 1997 GTP shifter cable yesterday. Can't find a new one. Why am I having so much trouble finding a simple cable? Can I use a universal cable? How long is the stock shifter cable? thought I saw 31 inches - does that sound right? I want to fix this today. Thanks for your help. -Mtrmes02
