Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

    Body Control Module going bad?

2005 GP GT. A few months ago, the door locks did something wonky like not allowing to lock with remote or even manually with the door lock button. Started the car, turned it off, tried the locks again then they worked and stayed locked. Has done that a couple times over the past few months...

    Question on Pioneer FH-X700BT install

My son wants a Pioneer FH-X700BT for Christmas for his 2005 GP GT. He says it will fit and work with the steering wheel controls. Are there special dash adapters or wiring harnesses to make this an easy install?

coolant low & gunk under radiator cap 2005 GT

2005 GT with ~147,000 miles. So we had the radiator flushed and filled with death cool, new hoses, thermostat, belt, etc. less than a year ago noticed the reservoir tank was empty. I pull the radiator cap to see if I need to add more to the radiator and under the cap I find this :th_nervous...

Is the intake gasket a problem on 2004 & newer 3800?

Well we are starting to experience some coolant loss but do not see it leaking anywhere and the car is running fine. No check engine light, no white smoke from the radiator, dip stick oil and oil fill cap look fine (no milkshake looking oil). So before refilling the reservoir with more...

    OnStar Antenna leaking???

I have a 05 GP GT and when we have a torrential rain and the car is sitting in it, water leaks into the overhead map lights near the windshield. Anyone else have this problem? I'm thinking it might be the OnStar antenna leaking which is right above the map lights.

    05 GP anti-lock brake issue

My wife's 05 GP GT has an intermittent anti-lock brake issue going on. You know what it sounds like when it is icy out and you come to a stop sign and the pedal goes to the floor and it makes that noise as the pedal is going to the floor? It does this on occasion at low speeds when coming to a...

Is the intake gasket a problem on 2004 & newer 3800?

My neighbor told me my wife's 2005 GP 3.8L (naturally aspirated) will most likely need an intake gasket at some point since the factory intake gaskets are kinda junky. He said anywhere from 80k miles on up they start having issues. My wife's has 132k. Is what my neighbor saying have any truth...

    Front brake rotors warped (again)

2005 GP GT - wife's car So I pay the tall dollar for a brake job 1 year ago since the squeak sensor said it was time (OEM brakes, not pulsing). The shop replaces the front rotors and pads (ceramic). 6 months later the brakes are pulsing while coming to a stop (front rotors are warped). Shop...

    Horn not working.

I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with a horn not working. The fuse under the hood looks good and I hear the relay click when the horn is pushed on the steering wheel. Is it possible the horn itself could be bad? Is the relay supposed to click? Does anyone know where the horn is on these...

Anyone that has had or will have their interior door panel off on an 04+, I have a 2005 that needs a new passenger side window switch. 2005 GT passenger window switch R & R help

I need to replace an intermittent front passenger side window switch in my 05 GT. The window goes down, sometimes it goes up but not usually. Does anyone know if I need to remove the interior door panel to get at the switch? Or is there a trick to removing the trim piece only around the switch...
