    Rack & Pinion torque specs.

    What can happen if a new rack is installed and wasn't tightened according to the torque specs.? The original rack lasted 250k. I'm getting ready to replace rack again for the 3rd time in about a year. The first replacement rack we sent back as defective, now having rack problems again...
