    2000 Grand Prix GT- wont lock up

    I was driving home last night at 55 mph, and the car jerked a little, the headlights flickered and the torque converter unlocked and stayed that way. Everything else seems normal but the TC wont lock up. I checked the fuse this morning , that's ok. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Mpg madness !!!

    My 2000 GT runs like new, no check engine issues, smooth idle, new tune up, wires, air filter, etc. I drive mostly highway and country with the lightest foot possible. I can barely get 20 mpg. Can anyone steer me in the right direction with this. The car is rated at 29 hwy, I have never seen that.

    Slight rpm surge between 3rd and 4th ?

    I notice a slight rpm surge when the trans shifts between 3rd and OD. I dont feel anything but it is visible on the tach. Any input is appreciated. Also, does anyone know where the trans fluid should show on the dipstick with the engine off and cold? Seems easier to check it this way.

    just bought a 2000 gt

    I just bought a 2000 GT and was trying to figure out a few things. I have some bubbles on the trans dipstick and hear a strange noise when going up a steep hill. I was also wondering about this DEXCOOL thing and there is gunk in the radiator. I also just had an alignment but the front wheels...
