    heat, dont beat, caliper pins

    This is an old school way, but it worked and it might save someone some time and money. My son came over with his 2000 Firebird for new front brakes. Pulled the pads and found that both lower caliper pins were frozen in place. Couldn't turn them with vice-grips and a 20 oz. ball-pen hammer...
