Odd Noise - Clicking/Grinding

I have a 2008 GXP with around 44K on it. Recently I started noticing an odd noise coming from the front. I can only describe it as a combination of a solenoid like clicking noise and a slow metal on metal grinding noise. Seems like it coming from the front left. Here are the known symptoms...
