• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

  • I'm not doing any agressive driving with mine either,it replaced my 02 GP GT.I usually average 40-50 k miles per year driving for work, mainly highway driving.I was just curious if you noticed if it handled any different in everyday driving.Finding two 18x8's is gonna be pretty costly,I just wanted to know from someone who's swapped them whether it affects the ride at all or is all of Pontiac's engineering just BS.With the amount of miles that I drive I really need to have tires that I can rotate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have not noticed any problems with rubbing. There is very little room between the inside of the tire and the strut. But if you notice, it's the same way with the 18X7's. The clearance is nearly identicaly IMO. I've not had any problems with rubbing on the fender either, but I don't drive with much weight in my car. Some say you may rub with a ton of weight, but I'm not sure on that. As far as handling, unfortunately I don't drive my GXP like a race car for the simple fact that I drive about 10-15 miles per day to/from work and to pick up my daughter from school. It's almost all straight driving in the city, etc. Let me know if you have any further questions. By the way, I am running OEM 255/45/18 tires on the rear as well. Scott
