    02 gtp bose system sounds fading

    I have a factory bose system and recently the sound fades in and out front and rear speakers do it also when there is a cd playing. Any ideas what could be the problem. Also thinking about replacing just the stereo not the speakers, what is recomended i want a good quality stereo with a ipod...
