    Ok so I bought a 97 Grand Prix gtp for the motor in my 01 gtp because I broke a rod the 97 had a bad head gasket but ran perfect idled great and everything we pulled the motor and started tearing it down to replace the gaskets when we started putting it back together we cleaned the cylinder...

    Ok so I have a 2001 gtp that I am getting ready to put a different motor possibly transmission out of a 97 I know the motors will interchange but I need to know the difference between the transmissions also would I need to swap computers or anything else
