    will a '97 4t65e fit in a '98??

    I have the notorious "4th gear stripped splines" issue on my 98 GT. I ran across a good deal on a low mile 4t65e out of a 97 GT (both regular 3.8L motors...neither supercharged). Will it bolt right in and hook right up, or will I run into issues. Thanks for the help!

    '98 WON'T go into OVERDRIVE

    I have a '98 grand prix GT that wont shift into overdrive. it's running about 3100 rpm at 70mph and when I shift the shifter from OD to 3rd, the tach doesn't move. Otherwise the tranny works just fine...no hard shifting, slipping or anyting. Any chance the is something fairly cheap or simple...

    Fuel Milage

    I bought a 98 grand prix GT recently, which only gets about 21-22 miles per gallon on a tank (85% highway driving-70MPH). I had a 97 GT about a year ago that got around 26-27 MPG doing the exact same driving. Any ideas on what would be different? It seems to run as good or better than my old...

    clunking/play in left front wheel

    I have a 98 grand prix GT I bought that has a clunk (sounds just like a strut clunk) in the front right wheel. There is also some play when you pull the top of the tire in and out. There is no whining like a wheel bearing. Is this a CV shaft issue or could it still be a wheel bearing? Also...
