    car stalls when slowing down

    i have a 97 se with the 3800 in it. I have been having problems with the car shutting down when coming to a stop. It appears to have a problem reaching idle after i let off gas when i come to a stop or randomly slow down. The HUD goes all crazy and then the "check guages" light comes on...
