    lower door panels and rocker panels on 1998 GTP

    i, maybe i'm in the wrong forum here but always kept this car in basement original paint still excellent except for lower door and rocker panels..both sides have become faded and tarnished..what is the cause of this when rest of original paint is excellent?

    does this sound like a bad thermostat?

    '98 Gran Prix GTP 3800-SC..127,000miles..when cranking cold it takes a while(several miles) to get up to 185/190 on the instrument guage but levels off there..after driving 20-25 miles and getting into several stoplights on a 95 degree day with the a/c on..guage will creep up 2-3 notches past...

    what thermostat is OEM?

    Hi everyone..i have a 1998 GTP 3.8sc..temp seems to run hot even though guage doesnt indicate it..was gonna change the t-stat to see if it helps..what is oem temp on my engine..thanks.
